Today is Kaylan and Dylan's one month birthday. We celebrated big today with cookies, cupcakes and LOTS of visitors....a little bit of over-stimulation for the babies I think ;) I can't believe it's already been a month ago that they were born. What I REALLY can't believe is that I'm still 6 1/2 weeks from my DUE DATE! Crazy!
A month ago our lives changed in a drastic way and we are so thankful to have these precious miracles. It's an honor to have been chosen to be their mommy and daddy. It's been a month of daily visits (twice daily for me), a month of driving, several tanks of gas, Toll charges, changing diapers, pumping, crying, praying, laughing, worrying, visits, IV's, blood transfusions, infections, CPAP, incubators, ounces, gains, losses, Kangaroo holds, more tears, more praying, more worrying, more visitors, more pumping and more moments to fall in love with them every day.
So, bring on NICU month 2. Let's do this.

We had the most wonderful time with our grandbabies. What a treat to actually get to touch them and feel their little fingers close on your finger! We miss them already. Until we come again, they (and y'all) will be in our constant prayers.
Happy one-month birthday, you gorgeous little munchkins. Dylan's a little lady killer. That face! And sweet baby Kaylan...her fingers may be small, but they're big enough to have tons of people wrapped around them.
This world is already better with them in it. Happy one-month to all four of you.
Happy One Month!! I love you all so much!! I have got to get up there to see Dylan in his big boy clothes and my little twincess, who is still stealing my heart! I love the picture in that blue hat!! He is really growing:). I believe Miss Kaylan is bigger too!! Can't wait to see y'all!!
Love You,
Jasie
Happy month birthday, kids! So glad you are so positive. And so glad that you are pumping. My girls are 14 months old, and they are still nursing. You are doing such a great job!

Dylan, Uncle Jud is so proud of you and how you have been taking it all in and growing! You are wearing your new clothes with style (except that hat that has tt all over it!). Now we need you to send some love over to your sweet baby sister over there. She needs her big brother to nurse her along! Can't wait until y'all can crawl into the same crib and snuggle up like y'all used to.
Landon and Jenner, We love y'all so much. I am going to be up there later this week for some training so I'll be sure to get with you and come see the little munchkins. Praying for you, Jenner, as you head back to work today. Not easy to focus, I'm sure, but you'll do great! God has gifted you both in your work and is blessing you as a result. Finally, little Kaylan, keep on hanging in there sweetie! Get well so that Uncle Jud can come see you this week. I can't wait to start spoiling you a little!...okay...a LOT! I was in Aggieland yesterday and saw some really cute little Aggie things...but I'll wait and let your parents try to sell you on that school out in the sticks first.
We love you all! We'll talk soon!
Dear Lord, thank you for the miracles you have worked moment by moment over the last month. Before these babies came into the world, we prayed that you would "do it, Lord, that your glory may be seen." You have done so much more! Thank you for letting us see your grace and power and for allowing us to come along in the process. Our faith grows daily with these babies. We praise you for Godly parents and for the circle of support that is surrounding them. In the name of Jesus, continue to move that we may look upon your face in our circumstances. Amen.
Happy Birthday Dylan and Kaylan. You are beautiful miracles and we all just can't wait to see you and hold you. Hugs and kisses to your mommy and daddy!
