Welcome

THIS IS THE REAL LIFE DOCUMENTARY OF....

Faith and Fear...

Trust and Doubt...

Ups and Downs...

A God that still performs miracles...

A 1-pound baby girl and 3-pound baby boy...

This is our story; this is our life.

**************************************

In the race of life, God our heavenly Father has come alongside us through the person of the Holy Spirit. And

~when we think we can't go one more step,

~when the race becomes painful beyond endurance,

~when our hearts feel heavy,

~when our minds become dull,

~when our spirits are burned out,

we have the comforter who comes alongside us, puts His everlasting arms around us, and gently walks with us.

Time Marches On...

My Papa used to say "Time marches on, time marches on...." That's how I'm starting to feel. We're marching forward each day by the grace of God. Today, we had a good report. The blood flow actually looked good on the sonogram this morning. Also, the heart rate strip reports were good. So, we're praising God for each and every blessing.

Each morning, I wait until Dr. Gore calls me down for the sonogram. I never know what is going to be revealed on the mini flat screen TV that hangs over my head. I lay there and wait for him to come in. We have our usual small talk and then he starts. I still have trouble deciphering exactly what he is seeing from one scan to the other. Today, I did see something that was kind of funny...and that was Dylan was punching Kaylan in the ribs while I was getting the sonogram. The doctor said, "It's a wonder twins ever speak to each other when they are born." Ha! They're not even here yet and they are already fighting :)

We're inching closer and closer to the 28 week point. I hope that we can just blow that out of the water, but I have to remember that regardless...God already has their delivery planned and He won't be changing that.

I mentioned my Papa earlier in this blog. Landon never got to meet him because he passed away before he got the chance. Landon would have loved Papa and Papa would have loved Landon. I'm so thankful to see some of the loving characteristics of my sweet Papa in Landon. I remember that Papa had all of us grandkids' pictures stuck under the glass top table of their bedroom dresser and every night before he went to bed, he prayed over all our pictures. I thought about how Papa would do this today when Landon told me he spent last night praying in our nursery over the cribs. I obviously can't be at home right now to even SEE the nursery or cribs, but to know their Dad is already committed to praying for them in the room they will sleep and play in, just touches my heart in a way that I can hardly articulate.I'm so thankful the way that Landon leads our marriage and our family...just the way my Papa lead in our family.

So, until the next blah blah blog....Time marches on. :)

Must you make me cry so early in the morning? I say TIME MARCHES ON on a daily basis! I can still see the pictures under the glass, and I think they are still there! Yes, Papa would be so proud of all his grandkids and their spouses. God has truly blessed our family with Spiritual Leaders! We know you are going to sail right through these next few weeks, and those little miracles are going to arrive safe and sound! Still praying daily! I love you!

Okay....I'm reduced to a puddle of tears! Papa was one of the best men I have ever had the chance to know. I am so glad that your husband shares some of his qualities. Praying for you & your sweet babies! Come on 28 weeks!!!

Landon is an amazing husband and will be a very special dad to Kaylan and Dylan. He is just as lucky and blessed to have you as a wife!

I'm so thankful that the sonogram went well for you today. Continuing to keep you in my prayers and constantly in my thoughts.

Jennifer,
Hey! It's Meredith Moore-you don't know me but you have heard of me! I want to come visit you - we have had soem family stuff last week that kept me from coming to see you. YOU CAN DO THIS! I was there 105 blessed days and I am grateful for each and every one.
Let your nurses SPOIL you rotten, keep a POSITIVE attitude, and just HANG ON TO EVERY SINGLE DAY-it will make a difference.
I have to work Thurs and Fri but get done around 2:30 so I might try to stop by on my way home. If you haven't read our blog it is http://moorestories.blogspot.com. I haven't updated in FOREVER but kept a running journal thru the hospital stay.
Hang in there and Call or email me if you need ANYTHING!

I can't believe I somehow missed this post!!! I used to think about this stuff all the time but "as time marches on," sometimes I "forget to remember." That really took me back to a special time. There was always one thing I was always sure of and that is that Papa loved me and all of us more than anything in this world, next to Jesus. I'm confident that we are all what we are today because of those prayers that he prayed. You'll find the same thing in your beautiful children because you have the same kind of praying husband. It's really something to be cherished. Matt has the same love and compassion for people that Papa had and I'm so thankful for that!! Thanks for reminding me of all of these precious things to treasure:). I love you!!
